When you upload documents and read using NeuroRead Pro:

Multi-Device Sync

Your current page, word-level audio sync progress, bookmarks, and streak statistics sync to your account so you can pick up instantly on any phone, tablet, or laptop.

Encrypted Cloud Vault

Your books (PDFs & EPUBs) are stored in secure, private cloud object storage protected with industry-standard server-side encryption (AES-256).

Access to your cloud library requires authentication. Only your verified user session can access or stream your documents.

3. Data Ownership & AI Model Privacy

For users who take advantage of our Bring-Your-Own-Key (BYOK) features (e.g., custom roadmap prompts or private LLM integrations with OpenAI, Google Gemini, Groq, or Ollama):

Encrypted Key Storage: Your private API keys are encrypted at rest using envelope encryption. They are utilized exclusively to authenticate API requests on your explicit command.

Direct Provider Requests: Requests made with your own keys communicate directly with your selected AI provider. You can delete or forget your stored keys at any time from your account settings.
